PROJECT: Wesley Towers

Wesley Towers is a 73 acre site of which 43 acres are now developed. 330 residents are currently living at Wesley Towers in settings such as: The Towers Apartments and Wesley Manor Apartments - both congregate living units; Patio homes, 28 Duplexes, Asbury apartments (9 units), and two new Heritage Homes - all for independent living.

The Collier Assisted Living Center has 24 suites from 345 to 610 square feet each. Wesley Towers is also licensed as a 24 hour, 130 bed intermediate, skilled nursing facility and includes the Ralph Thorne Care Center, The Oliver and Helen Hester Care Center, and a Special Care dementia unit for 15 residents.

Landmark Architects and Engineers has been involved in every facet of development of Wesley towers beginning with the first "Towers" building (then known as The Methodist Home) constructed in 1966.

PROJECT: Church of the Holy Cross

New 800 seat sanctuary, chapel, choir loft, lower level, eight offices, storage rooms, kitchen, cry room, sacristry, library and large vestibule.

PROJECT: Kansas State Fair

Renovation of Administration Building with new entrance, lobby, ticket sales area, offices, conference room, staff room, communications room, file storage and restrooms.

PROJECT: Hutchinson Public Library

Remodel and Addition to children's department of Hutchinson Public Library. Included were a new entry and checkout area, and heating and air conditioning improvements to the library.

PROJECT: Hutchinson Public Works Facility

71,951 square foot facility with vehicle storage and repair, warehouses, city maintenance shops, offices, conference rooms, and locker rooms.

PROJECT: Kansas Cosmosphere

50,000 square foot addition to museum includes exhibit area for space artifacts, gift shop, gallery/conference room and offices.

PROJECT: Pleasant View Home

Renovations and additions in 2000 to add 20 residents to their skilled nursing facility.

Pleasant View Home is a continuing care retirement community.

PROJECT: Good Samaritan Assisted Living

The Lodge is the newest addition to The Good Samaritan campus and is an assisted living facility. Residents share three meals a day together in a beautifully decorated dining room. A private dining room is available for the residents to use for special activities or family gatherings. The living room is complete with a fire place.

PROJECT: Mount Hope Nursing Center

This project consisted of major renovation of the facility's nurse station, offices and dining rooms as well as the addition of a new living room and covered porch.

PROJECT: Cheney Golden Age Home

Included in this project were new dining rooms, laundry and support services and expansion of the kitchen facilities, as well as a major renovation of the existing kitchen and nurse station.

Of special interest is the fact that the dining rooms also serve as storm shelters, yet are bright and open thanks to easily sealed windows.

PROJECT: Mennonite Manor Greenhouse Project

Mennonite Manor's "Greenhouse Project" is a self-contained residence, designed like a private home, housing 10 elders, each of whom will have his or her own bedroom and full bathroom. It combines the best elements of high-care, high-privacy, and assisted living with a full range of nursing care. Each resident has full access to the community living area, dining area and porch/patio. The kitchen is fully accessible (visually and physically) to the residents, and meals are shared as a group at one table to encourage a community spirit.

PROJECT: Southwind Hospice

A new 12-bed, 16,000 square-foot in-patient hospice facility opened in November of 2005. This unique hospice care facility featured warmly appointed rooms for a dozen individuals and their families. Each patient room has an attached yet separate family room. A family kitchen, meeting/party room, kid's play rooms, central courtyard, laundry facility, plus other amenities are also included. The main goal of this project was to create an atmosphere that is as residential as possible for patients and families while providing a lasting, easy-to-care-for working environment for the staff.

PROJECT: Buhler High School

New 2200 Seat gymnasium, locker rooms, wrestling room, weight room, classrooms and expanded cafeteria addition.

PROJECT: Nickerson High School

New 1600 Seat Gymnasium, locker rooms, wresting room, and athletic storage  .

PROJECT: Ellinwood High School

New gymnasium, locker rooms, kitchen, cafeteria, classrooms, offices, renovated classrooms, restrooms, auditorium and ADA compliance.

PROJECT: Lyons Middle School

New Gymnasium, locker rooms, wrestling room, weight room, enclosed walkway connecting to Central Elementary School.

PROJECT: Sedgwick High School

New 1200 Seat Gymnasium, locker rooms, music department, classrooms and storage.

PROJECT: Stafford High School

Addition to existing high school which included new science rooms, shops, home economics, multi-purpose room and offices. Renovations include kitchen, dining areas, library and classrooms.

PROJECT: Holy Cross School

New FEMA funded storm shelter, library addition.

PROJECT: Countryside Covenant Church

20,800 square foot addition to an existing facility including a 650+ (800 maximum) seat sanctuary and new entry foyer with gathering / information area, nursery / childcare facilities.  Also included are classrooms and church administration office renovations and addition.
